Hand-Painted Skateboard Series

An ongoing project to develop my illustration, lettering, and painting skills. The project also challenges me to think creatively on how to fit the composition in a designated area while still being eye-catching. Another attribute of this project is that the art isn't necessarily permanent. Many skaters destroy the bottom of their boards with constant usage. The non-permanence of the art relates to the association of street art and culture that is often associated with the skating world.
